Blogging is a PW course requirement, and it’s worth 20%
of your total mark, so if don’t have a blog, now is the time
to set one up. If you need help with blogging, just ask me
during class or arrange an appointment with me.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out some of
the blogs by your fellow PW crew members, then
now is the time to check em out cause there are
plenty of interesting articles and weblinks.
Together we are creating a free resource of shared
information, and that’s a damn fine thing in my books.
Enjoy,
Dean.

Hi PW crew,
Due to work commitments “Rob Wellington is un able to present a lecture until Week 6.
So I have brought forward the “Digital Storytelling” lecture and I have allotted extra time for studio practice
in the tutorial this week so I can assist people with there projects and any software concerns.
For more information on “Digital Storytelling”, just take a look at the Favorite Websites section for some great resources. Oh, and keep sending in those blog URL’s so I can include you on the blogroll.
Cheers,
Dean.
Update: New PW Tutorial on Fridays August 4, 2006
Posted by dean in Important PW Class Updates.1 comment so far
Hi All,
Due to the heavy enrollment in “Possible Worlds” (PW) we have now introduced a second tutorial to ensure that all students are provided with adequate computer access. Two tutorial times means comfortable class sizes of around 10 students.
The “Possible Worlds” extra dossiers have been ordered and 3 extra Graal subscription has been arranged. That means 2 subscription per class. So every student gets 1 day per week to play at their leisuire.
I am working on updating the PW Blog over the weekend and I will put all your BLOGS in the “blogroll” so everyone can share ideas, reviews and news with the PW class.
The “Possible Worlds” lecture time will still be on Thursday 1.30pm in the Bonza Lab in Building 24 and the tutorial times are as follows.
Lecture 1.30-2.30 Thursday in the Bonza Lab in bldg 24
Tutorial 1 2.30-4.30 Thursday in the Bonza Lab in bldg 24
Tutorial 2 1.30-3.30 Friday in the Bonza Lab in bldg 24
Please let me know via email if you can swap to the Friday tutorial as we need 9-10 people in each of the tutorials.
I am keen to sort out the Friday tutorial time as soon as possible to avoid disruption to your classes.
I look forward to a productive semester.
Cheers,
Dean
